Meet the Maestro Behind Capitol Dystrikt Music:
At the core of Capitol Dystrikt Music is Roger Samuel, a visionary DJ, Producer, and Label Creator whose roots run deep within the vibrant streets of DC. Born and raised in this dynamic city Roger has lived and breathed music from a young age, channeling the rhythm of the streets into beats that resonate far and beyond.
With hands that have mastered the decks from the early years of Vinyl, and an ear finely tuned to the pulse of the crowd, Roger knows music is much more than what is produced in the studio; it's about the energy it sparks in the heart of every listener. His journey began as a resident Dj in DC’s local clubs playing alongside Danny Howell, Sasha, and many other great Dj’s . Establishing his own label, he is driven by a relentless passion to give sound to the silenced, and to spotlight talent that might otherwise remain in the shadows.
Understanding the struggles artists face in carving out their space and getting heard, Roger founded Capitol Dystrikt Music with a mission: to create a sanctuary where artists of all genres feel empowered. His expertise not only lies in producing and mixing tracks that captivate and inspire but also in nurturing a community where artists can flourish and define their own paths.
Roger’s dedication to music and his city is matched only by his determination to pay homage to DC and elevate local artists to the national stage. Through Capitol Dystrikt Music he aims to foster a vibrant musical ecosystem where diversity thrives, and every beat tells a story of truth, passion and perseverance.
Joining forces with Roger at Capitol Dystrikt Music isn’t just about making music; it’s about becoming part of a movement that celebrates the culture , champions local talent, and redefines the soundscape of DC.
